Hey North Parade Social Club is now part of the Kingsway Group and open in the summer every afternoon and every evening, for the winter I think some afternoons will be kept but no all of them see how it goes.  They have done a lot of alterations and things change very quickly, so I cant keep up with the latest things going on but you can always ring 01754 762537 and ask what's on.  Russel (he's the biggest one there)  is the General Manager now, Su still works there so does Vaughn so there are some old faces still there but me Mervyn after 30 years of bingo I've given the reins over at last and I love it !!

All cash link games are played on the latest equipment which involves the use of "ISDN" telephone lines which are digital lines giving "CD" quality to the sound, you could be forgiven for thinking that the caller was in your own club, although quite often he is! At Skegness we seem to call more frequent than others for some reason, we must have good callers. The numbers are transfered automatically from the calling club to the others in the link game and on each number all club have to press a button to confirm that the number is recieved, this is a safe guard that many other link groups do not have. Prize money is worked out to the penny each club donating to the prize pool in proportion to their ticket sales on that game. The prize being calculated to the link game is done by percentage to the third decimal place. Monies returned to each club surplus to the link game prize money is played for within the respective club either on a separate house game or another game that night. All in all it is as you would expect a very proffisional operatrion but the set up behind it all is vast.
